Video Game
Music With Violin (VGM)
We’re both gamers (or geeks, nerds if you prefer) and love playing video games in our free time (though that time has significantly shrunk since becoming parents!)
We believe video game music composers create some of the most brilliant pieces, capable of making or breaking the gaming experience. Some of our favorite composers and biggest inspirations include Inon Zur, Borislav Slavov, and Jeremy Soule. Becky, however, is a hardcore fan of retro video games (NES, SNES, etc.), so legendary names like Koji Kondo and Nobuo Uematsu have been a huge part of her gaming life since childhood. (Davor, on the other hand, isn’t a fan of 8-bit music—lame, we know!)
If you ask us, video game music is the genre we love listening to and covering the most. After all, we met each other inside a video game!
In this section, you’ll find links to stream and download all our video game music covers, and YouTube videos. We hope you enjoy them!
Assassin's Creed
Baldur's Gate 3
We’ve been fans of Borislav Slavov’s work ever since we played Divinity: Original Sin 2. Its soundtrack is, in our opinion, one of the most beautiful and magical pieces of music ever created for a video game. It truly transports you to the world of Rivellon!
When we heard that Larian Studios was developing Baldur’s Gate 3 and that Borislav Slavov would be composing its score, we knew we had to cover its theme. But with three main themes, all equally incredible, we couldn’t choose just one—so we turned it into a medley!
Divinity: Original Sin 2
Dota 2
Dragon Age: Origins
Fallout
One of our favorite franchises paired with one of our favorite composers, Inon Zur—what’s not to love? The main themes in the Fallout series are a unique blend of dark, dire tones mixed with a sense of hope, and we loved covering two of them: Fallout 4 and Fallout 76.
Because war… war never changes.
League of Legends
Starfield
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
The Witcher 3
The Fields of Ard Skellig
Who wasn’t mesmerized by the music when Geralt first arrived at the Skellige Islands? The Witcher 3 boasts an incredible soundtrack, making it hard for us to pick a favorite theme. However, The Fields of Ard Skellig stood out with its haunting vibe, beautiful melody (perfect for the violin) and its lovely harp harmonies. It was the natural choice for our first Witcher cover!
